Stronger together, safer together
Be her echo. When she calls, someone answers.
Her Echo will connect women locally, so no woman has to feel alone getting home, leaving a venue or dealing with a situation.
Five simple ideas
Trusted contact lists
A small group of people who agree to be "safe calls" if someone feels uneasy walking home, leaving a venue or dealing with a situation.
Neighbourhood micro-groups
6 to 12 women who live close by and keep an eye out for each other. Not a WhatsApp free-for-all, a curated, known group.
Buddy routes
Pre-agreed walking routes where someone can call or text a buddy to meet them halfway.
Check-in culture
Normalising "text me when you're home" and "I'm heading out, can someone be on standby?"
Local safe spots
Pubs, cafés, gyms or shops that quietly agree to be places women can step into if they feel unsafe.
Built on trust, not apps alone
Curated membership
You only add people you actually know. No open invites.
Clear boundaries
The group is for support. Not gossip, not emergency response, not amateur policing.
No location sharing
You decide what you share. Your location stays yours.
Men can support, but not join
Men can be trusted contacts, drivers or helpers, but the core group stays women-only.
Simple protocols
If someone calls, stay on the line. If they ask you to meet them, go with another woman. If it escalates, call 999.
Organise in person
Face-to-face connections build trust. Meet-ups, walk-throughs and plans are made in person.
Join a local self-defence group
Get fit while you learn to protect yourself. Her Echo will help women find and organise local groups.
Be one of the first
Her Echo is in development. Sign up and I'll let you know when it launches in your area, and invite you to help shape it.
